Aces in Motion Full Strength Counseling Program
The Aces in Motion (AIM) Mental Counseling Program, known as AIM Full Strength, is dedicated to ensuring equitable access to mental health support and services that our community deserves. We focus on supporting the whole student-athlete and their family through a comprehensive range of services, all provided at no cost with enrollment in AIM. Our program offers counseling services across multiple sites, including schools, our after school program, virtual platforms, and even on the tennis court, ensuring that support is available wherever it is needed.
Key Features:

-
Versatile Counseling Modalities: AIM Full Strength employs a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of our students. This ensures personalized care that adapts to each individual's unique circumstances. Coach Eric employs strategies and techniques from Relational Cultural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Liberation Psychology, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, among others.
-
Family Therapy: We recognize the importance of involving the entire family in the therapeutic process. The program provides family therapy sessions, facilitating healthier communication and stronger relationships within the family unit.
-
Individual Counseling for Parents: Understanding that parents play a crucial role in their children's development, our program offers individual counseling for parents. This support helps them navigate the challenges of parenting and better support their children's mental health. Our goal is to heal our community, not just our children.
-
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): The program incorporates Trauma-Focused CBT, a specialized approach that helps individuals process and overcome the effects of trauma, leading to improved emotional and psychological well-being.
-
Neurosequential Model of Sport Certification: With certification in the Neurosequential Model of Sport, the program integrates brain-based principles into sports activities. This approach enhances emotional regulation, resilience, and overall mental health through structured and supportive athletic experiences.
