Student Education and Student Support Services
For those students with learning and behavioral challenges, communication issues, physical impairment, developmental disorders and the like, particular learning strategies might be necessary. The ESE department provides for the needs of all students including advising and counseling, accessibility, wellness and health, career developmental, school climate and student conduct.
Once a student becomes eligible for ESE services under at least one of the exceptionalities, a continuum of services is provided for each of the exceptionalities. Each student eligible for services under IDEA has an Individual Education Plan (IEP), which is reviewed and revised at least annually with the parents.
Who do I contact if my child is struggling academically and needs help?
Aces in Motion can assist with helping navigate the process to support your student. In addition to contacting your child’s educator, the school administrator or the school counselor with your concerns, AIM can advocate for your student's success.
